WITTENSTEIN drive solutions for robot-assisted surgery – such as the miniaturized Galaxie gearbox and cyber® kit‑line motors – are extremely rigid, compact and torque-tight. Alternatively, WITTENSTEIN servo gearboxes can be used due to their high rigidity and repeatability when hollow shafts and zero backlash are not relevant.

6-axis force-torque sensors from the WITTENSTEIN joint venture Resense enable surgical assistance systems to provide precise haptic feedback.
