The cynapse® Starter Kit contains all the necessary hardware and software components to put a WITTENSTEIN alpha gearbox with cynapse® functionality directly into operation. The preconfigured solution enables easy commissioning without any programming effort:

**Gearbox with cynapse®** Feature integrated sensors for recording operating data such as temperature, vibration, and operating hours.

**IO-Link master** Serves as an interface for transmitting sensor data from the gearbox to controllers or higher-level systems.

**Industrial PC** As a local platform for executing container-based applications—with Docker runtime, smart services can be operated directly on the machine, independently of cloud infrastructures.

**Smart services** The smart services analyze and visualize drive train operating data in real time. They support condition assessment, threshold value monitoring, and early fault detection.
