#####   What makes WITTENSTEIN a secure employer?

As a medium-sized family business, WITTENSTEIN is very aware of its responsibility towards its employees. Long-term strategies, complex products, and the pursuit of unconditional excellence can only be achieved with an experienced, committed, and largely constant workforce. In addition, our forward-looking approach makes our commitments predictable when concluding permanent contracts. #####   What makes WITTENSTEIN's management culture and quality so good?

Our leadership principles are based on our corporate philosophy, which is of high value in our value-oriented family business. Junior managers undergo extensive, multi-stage training. The prerequisite for this is successful participation in a preliminary potential analysis, in which experienced managers and internal and external diagnosticians test the suitability of the candidates for leadership. Experienced managers who join us from outside the company or who want to develop into a high management level undergo a leadership interview in which their leadership qualities are assessed. Our managers regularly attend leadership workshops to continuously develop their leadership skills and exchange experiences with colleagues.

#####   How does WITTENSTEIN integrate new colleagues?

On their first day at work, new employees receive insider information and get to know the company, its structures, and infrastructure. The basis for technical training is a comprehensive induction plan that structures and documents the transfer of all know-how. Knowledge is imparted by colleagues or experts, or at the WITTENSTEIN academy. Regular team events and after-work parties for the entire location are great opportunities to get to know each other and network. The newcomer get-together is a regular meeting place for those who started at WITTENSTEIN at the same time. During the first few months, each newcomer is assigned a mentor.

#####   Are there opportunities for further development at WITTENSTEIN?

Shaping the future, including for yourself – to live up to this aspiration, WITTENSTEIN offers a wide range of opportunities for further development. In addition to traditional development paths, management careers, and specialist careers, role- and subject-specific training courses are also offered. Around 1,000 learning opportunities are available each year at the WITTENSTEIN academy, as well as the option to participate in external seminars. With continuing education support programs, we help finance part-time advanced qualifications, e.g., to become a master craftsman, technician, or master's degree holder.
