Saferty critical embedded system design
We develop our own drive software in accordance with SIL 3 in line with the EN 50128 standard.
EN 50128 is a European standard derived from IEC 61508, defining requirements for developing safety-related software for railway applications—both trackside and onboard.
Most SAFERTOS® rail developers use the Industrial DAP, supporting certification to IEC 61508 SIL 3. For companies needing compliance with EN 50128, WITTENSTEIN provides all required information within the DAP, including a cross-reference matrix mapping DAP content to EN 50128.
Typical SAFERTOS® rail applications include signaling, control, and communication systems.
