Simulation expertise at WITTENSTEIN
Flight simulators enhance air safety significantly. These can be used to provide civilian and military pilots with practical instruction and training. WITTENSTEIN develops advanced Control Loading Systems for flight simulators, which play a crucial role in pilot training by authentically replicating aircraft behavior and failure modes. These turnkey solutions include integrated hardware, actuators, force sensors, and the Aktiv8® software suite, ensuring realistic control feedback for any aircraft type.
Our systems are customizable, supporting both fixed-wing and rotary aircraft such as the Boeing 707, EC135/635, and AW139, and meet all EASA and FAA qualification standards.
For complex mission trainers like the AVCATT system used by the U.S. Army, WITTENSTEIN provides modular actuators and aircraft-specific grips that automatically reconfigure via software to simulate multiple helicopter models, including UH-60, OH-58, CH-47, and AH-64 variants.
