The InduTwist induction screw sealer from IMAGINE Engineering screws and seals in a single step – hygienically, safely, and efficiently. This is made possible by the gearless servo motors of the cyber® kit line from WITTENSTEIN, with the extension of cyber® simco® drive 2 and cyber® power supply – perfectly coordinated, without interface risks.

Drive system with system – for precise, integrated packaging processes
For the innovative screw cap applicator “InduTwist,” the project team relies on the frameless servo motors of the cyber® kit line small – compact, powerful, and with a large hollow shaft. The aim of the project, which was funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection (BMWK), was to combine two process steps: screwing and inductive sealing in a single operation.
Thanks to the complete drive system from a single source—consisting of a motor, cyber® simco® drive 2 servo drive, and cyber® power supply—interface risks were avoided and a precise, space-saving solution was implemented. The motor delivers up to 8 Nm of torque with an outer diameter of only 85 mm and allows the induction head to be integrated thanks to its large hollow shaft.
The cyber® simco® drive 2 servo drives enable precise torque control, seamless process monitoring, and offer maximum connectivity thanks to their multi-Ethernet interface. The system is extended by efficient power supplies with over 95% efficiency.
With its high power density, modular design, and flexibility, the cyber® kit line small is also ideally suited for future applications—a future-proof one-stop solution for demanding OEM applications.
