Pioneers on the road

International experience for trainees & students at WITTENSTEIN

Our innovative training concept for international experience

With the “PIONIERE auf der Walz” initiative, we promote the holistic personal development and cultural education of our young talents through a unique international stay abroad.

We offer young people who have completed their training or studies an unparalleled opportunity to gain valuable experience abroad before starting their careers:

They define their own mission and organize their stay in a foreign country. In the process, they explore, experience, and discover new paths. This journey broadens their horizons, promotes intercultural skills, and brings our pioneers closer to other ways of life and cultures. An indispensable step toward mastering the global challenges of tomorrow.

More about training & studying

The open-mindedness of pioneers: a win for WITTENSTEIN

How do people in other parts of the world think and feel? How do the culture and working life there function?

What values matter in different parts of the world? How important are technology and innovation? The program aims to turn all these questions into real-life experiences, promote cultural competence, and further develop the personalities of the pioneers—in order to advance themselves and WITTENSTEIN on the path to becoming a globally active mechatronics group.
